Snuggling on the Couch

Here are the sweet three on the couch. From last week when everyone was feeling sick. BigE was enjoying snuggling into Nanny Dot's blue blanket.

Here's a nice shot of the kids. Never could get Peanut to look at the camera.

Here's the come get me outta here shot:

For Lisa

For those that live around us you probably heard of Lisa Nancarrow who is raising money for an experimental treatment of Neurofibromatosis. So those that didn't hit the BBQ fundraiser head on over to forlisa.ca and make a donation via paypal.

We did. Now go top it.

We scream for Ice Cream we all Scream

We're sick. Yup everyone. Well maybe not Arnie but you never know. Peanut has a virus and rash. BigE started some ill feelings and temperature this evening. Mama has been nauseous. I have strep. I'm down to penicillin and 4 or 5 extra strength Tylenol. All things considered lately that is pretty. I think that also makes me the healthiest to boot too!

Yeah Strep.

Some pics of the sweet three coming. But first to bed.

Little Kids and Little Packages

Here's a pic of Peanut from the weekend where she has discovered little packs of raisins. Mama wasn't thinking she was going to eat it, just that she wanted to play with it.

Low and behold she thought they would also thought it would make a good snack. Peanut was very pleased with herself

Those little fingers were perfect for scoping out the raisins.

Which in the end is probably better then eating granola bars

Quote of the Day 78

From a colleague:

Crappy technology support 101

I know it sucks but after few trials it works, by few I mean may be a lot.

Quote of the Day 77

We're eating breakfast (chocolate chip pancakes) and I call out to BigE to see if he wants more milk

BigE "I do. My cup is empty but I want some more. I don't want a full cup. Fill it up with 359 drops"

Peanut's at Daycare

Today was Peanut's first real day at daycare. We'd done a few visits to introduce her to the environment. But this morning was D Day. Daycare Day.

No point taking a pick. I'll just insert some random pic of her crying. She wasn't too happy when Dada did the switch and started to leave. It had been a little odd for her since Dada had done the wake up as well. Momma being at work.

By dinner time all was forgotten as the happy girl was out at the Lone Star. Giggling and flirting with the other tables.

If the debate is over

... who do you talk to about this mess?

Weather stations give flawed temperature data, meteorologist claims (Original http://surfacestations.org/)

After examining 80% of the US climate monitoring stations

“We found stations located next to exhaust fans of air conditioning units, surrounded by asphalt parking lots and roads, on blistering-hot rooftops, and near sidewalks and buildings that absorb and radiate heat,”

and
Watts estimates that 22 percent of stations have an expected error of 1 degree C, 61 percent have an expected error of 2 degrees C, and 8 percent have an expected error of 5 degrees C

You might want to take a look into that before you drop a few Trillion dollars to stop plants from growing.
