It's a little hard to get a group picture

I've had requests for new pictures. It doesn't help when the camera goes missing for a month. The old touch doesn't really capture useful pictures. This is from the new phone. it's better but not great.


Poor RyRy has a funny look. Peanut is shouting "cheese" at the top of her lungs. However BigE is smilling. Which is rare so this is a keeper!

Weeeeeeee

On the weekend we hit a friends house for a little Sunday afternoon pool time.

Thundershowers

Rye and Peanut got a chance to play with some rain when we recently had a day of hard rain. Something like 50 mm during the day.

Here is little Rye venturing out to the rain. It took a few minutes to leave the safety of the garage. He was getting ever so close to the water.


But once he was in it was fun!


Peanut had no problem with the rain but figured it made more sense to get the umbrella. Which to her is about as much fun as playing in the rain.

More Party Cake

Baby Avenue had her, tiny bit early, 1st birthday party. Here she is with Rye eating cake. Nothing like yummy cake. Especially to a messy eater like Rye

Rye Help's Himself

Rye has figured out those chairs are good for more then just climbing up on the kitchen table. They also help you raid stuff by the sink on the other side of the kitchen.

And once your up there its target rich environment. There is the tap, the spayers, the dishes in the sink (clean and dirty), the face clothes, and best of all the fruit bowl. Never hurts to help yourself to a snack when no one is looking or helping you!



Mmmm that is some good pear. Now the odd thing is when you grab fruit for work only to find little bites out of it later in the day. Good thing we don't have a rodent problem or I wouldn't be sure the fruit is good!

It was the late in the day.

Re "A Visit to the Sugar Bush" I grabbed a small sequence of photos. The kids were hanging out in the little garden. They were looking cute at the end the of the pond.



Then Mama called out "I'm going to get you!"


Off they went with Mama hot in pursuit.

BigE was faster a foot.


BigE proving that you don't have to out run the wild animal just someone else in your group. Poor Peanut lost. To be fair those boots probably slowed here down quite a bit.

A Visit to the Sugar Bush

On the weekend we visited the Sugar bush as part of Mama's birthday weekend. The kids had a pretty good time with an egg hunt, farm animals, and a giant breakfast.

On the way out we checked out the "Big Chair". The kids were quite pleased by it.

Measuring Stick?

I'm not really sure what's going on here. I just found this photo of BigE and Rye.

Is BigE stablizing the two tippy towers? Is he measuring the height of his tower or brother? Who knows. At least BigE is very good with Rye.

Rye Climing Montage

I'm not saying all he does is climb because that wouldn't be true but when the child does want to climb he sure seems capable. Considering there were taken before he turned one.

This is the "I'm not in the way look am I?"


Here's Rye pleased with himself. Step 1 pick a chair, step 2 pull youself up, step 3 grab onto the table and pull yourself up. And finally step 4 pillage anything left on the table.


This one fortunately he has stopped with. He's gotten higher but I wanted to snap the picture before he got too high.

Rye's Frist Birthday

This is a repost of the Peanut pic. But picture her on the couch and you have what she's feeling like. RyeRye isn't must better.

I've heard through the grapevine, aka phone, that BigE is heading out to Auntie Bevie's for some fun.

Going For a Ride

Peanut was having fun giving Rye a ride around the kitchen in this basket. Perhaps this could be an add for Danactive. Sort of like Popeye with his spinach.

If you like to crawl and climb but need to have a snack then think of a better idea then to combine them

Sick Report

Mama and Rye have the flu (temperature not stomach), Peanut is recovering but not 100%. BigE is tired but we think this is due to the week he had. I guess we'll see in the morning.

Dada A O K. Maybe that flu shot works.

Who needs toys

You've heard how kids will play with the box rather then the toy. How about the toy container rather then the toys?

I love Raspberries

but only when I get to steal them from my sister's bowl. When you give them to me I'm not really that interested.
