MMR & Autism

Remember that news from a while back? If so, or you've heard about it you should really check out Deer on Autism, Vaccination, and Scientific Fraud (from EconTalk - Economics podcasts for daily life.)

Investigative journalist Brian Deer talks with EconTalk host Russ Roberts about Deer's seven years of reporting and legal issues surrounding the 1998 article in The Lancet claiming that the MMR vaccine causes autism and bowel problems.

There is a 1 hour podcast, some key excerpts, and links to more reading.

Sick Report

Mama and Rye have the flu (temperature not stomach), Peanut is recovering but not 100%. BigE is tired but we think this is due to the week he had. I guess we'll see in the morning.

Dada A O K. Maybe that flu shot works.

The Goalies

Bige was in goal for his hockey team so he was wearing the goalie gear around the house to practice. Peanut, ever interested in hockey, wanted in on that action. She went and put on BigE's ball hockey gear.

Who needs toys

You've heard how kids will play with the box rather then the toy. How about the toy container rather then the toys?
